Managing Implementation Reviews

Implementation reviews for Defect Actions are optional, however, if one is created for a Defect Action, it must be in the Completed state before the Defect Action can be promoted to the Closed state.

For a Defect Action, any number of Implementation Reviews can be created, although usually only one is active at a time. For example, if after an Implementation Review has been completed, the Defect Action may be re-opened which requires an additional Implementation Review for the subsequent fix.

Before you begin: View the Properties page for the Defect Action.

  1. From the page Actions menu or toolbar, click Implementation Reviews.


    Implementation Reviews

    For each Implementation Review, this page lists these details:

    Name. The name of the Implementation Review (the name is the same as the Defect Action. Click to view the Properties page for the Implementation Review. See Viewing Implementation Review Details.

    Revision. The revision level of the Implementation Review.

    State. The current lifecycle state of the Implementation Review: either Initiated or Completed.

    Reviewers. The people selected to review the implementation.

    Files Modified. The list of files modified to implement the fix required by the Defect Action.

    Summary. The text explanation of the Implementation Review.
