Creating an Assessment

The project owner and people assigned Project Lead or Project Assessor access for a project can create an assessment for the project.


Before you begin: View the assessment page for the project. See Listing Assessments for a Project.
  1. Click Create New Assessment from the page Actions menu or toolbar.



  2. Enter details for these fields:

    Name. Assessment Name.

    Policy. Select a policy to govern the assessment's lifecycle. There may be only one listed.

    Assessment Status. Overall assessment. Select from the drop-down menu:


    • Red means the project health is in trouble and needs immediate attention.
    • Yellow means the project is on schedule but at high risk and should be watched.
    • Green means the project is in good shape.

    Assessment Summary. A brief summary of the assessment.

    Resource Status. The assessment for resources. Select Red, Yellow, or Green from the drop-down menu.

    Resource Summary. A brief summary of the resource assessment

    Schedule Status. The assessment for the schedule. Select Red, Yellow, or Green from the drop-down menu.

    Schedule Summary. A brief summary of the schedule.

    Financial Status. The assessment for the budget. Select Red, Yellow, or Green from the drop-down menu.

    Financial Summary. A brief summary of the financial assessment.

    Risk Status. The assessment for risks. Select Red, Yellow, or Green from the drop-down menu.

    Risk Summary. A brief summary of the risk assessment.

  3. Click Done.
