From the Categories menu, click Related Projects.
You can view this page in Schedule View (shown) or Dashboard View.
For each related project, the page lists these details:
Name. All related projects are listed
under the parent project. Click the name to view details about the project.
Status Flag. The status flags indicate whether
the project's tasks are behind schedule. The project's status flag reflects
the status of the task that is most behind. The exact number of days
for a task status to be yellow or red is configurable and may be different
for your system. Shows only in Schedule View.
- No flag: the task is not late.
- Green: the task is complete.
- Yellow: the task is not complete and the days remaining are less
than or equal to the threshold.
- Red: the task is not complete and the system date is greater than
the estimated End Date or Base Line End Date.
Type. The type of project, for example, Project,
Project Space, or Project Concept. Shows only in Schedule View.
Status. The current status of the project.
Shows only in Schedule View.
Current Phase. The current phase of
the project.
Current Phase:
- Est. End Date. The estimated end date for the
current phase.
- Act. End Date. The actual end date for the
current phase. Shows only in Schedule View.
Project:
- Est. End Date. The estimated end date for the
project.
- Act. End Date. The actual end date for the
project.
Program. The program associated with the project.
Shows only in Schedule View. Shows only in Dashboard View.
Owner. The current owner of the project.
Description. The description of the project.Shows
only in Schedule View.
Use the Actions menu or
page toolbar to work with the projects:
Create New Project. Creates
a new project. See Creating a Project.
Add Existing, Add existing
projects to the related project hierarchy as a child of the top-level
project. See Selecting an Existing Project as a Related Project.
Create Project Concept. Creates
a new project concept. See Creating a Project Concept.
Insert New. Inserts a new project
as a child of the selected project. See Creating a Project.
Insert Existing. Inserts an
existing project as a child of the selected project. See Selecting an Existing Project as a Related Project.
Remove Selected. Removes the
selected projects from the related project hierarchy; click OK
to confirm.
Delete. Deletes the selected
projects from the related project hierarchy, click OK
to confirm.
