Listing Affected Items

Anyone who can view a risk can view the items affected by it. An affected item is an item the risk has the potential to prevent from completing. For example, if a risk is created for a WBS task, then that task is listed as an affected item. If the risk isn't mitigated, the task might not be completed on time and therefore the project might not be completed.

Before you begin: Access the Categories menu for the risk. See Viewing Information about a Risk.
  • From the risk's Categories menu, click Affected Items.



    For each item, this page lists these details:

    Name. The name of the object. Click to view more details. The page that opens depends on the type of object.

    Description. A brief description of the object.
