Viewing Details of an ECR

You can view the details of any ECR you have access to.

Before you begin: View the list of ECRs for a quotation line item. See Managing ECRs.

  1. Click the Name of the ECR.

    ECR Properties

    If your system includes Engineering Central, you will see many more fields. Click Help for details on the additional fields. This page lists these details:

    Description of Change. A brief description of what change is needed.

    Reason for Change. Describes why the change is needed. The reason could include how the change will improve the product, which customers need the change, ans so on.

    State. The current lifecycle state of the ECR. If the state is Create, the supplier is still assembling information for the ECR. If the state is Under Evaluation, the supplier has submitted it to the buyer for evaluation.

  2. Use the page Actions menu or toolbar to work with the ECR:

    Edit Details. Edits the supplier-available attributes of the ECR; see Editing Details for an ECR.

  3. Use the Categories menu to view other information about the quotation line item. See ENOVIA Quotation Central Categories Menu.
