Listing Additional Attributes

The attributes on the quotation Line Item page includes those from the template the Buyer used to create the RFQ; the attributes on the Additional Attributes page are those the Buyer added in addition to the default attributes.

The values for additional attributes can require either buyer company or supplier company entry. A Buyer enters the values if the supplier companies needs them to determine their bid decisions; otherwise the supplier company enters the values, called UDAs (user-defined attributes, where the "user" is the Buyer). The Buyer can define if supplier-entered values are mandatory or optional.

Before you begin: View the Properties page for the needed line item. See Viewing Details for Quotation Line Items.
  • From the page toolbar, click Categories > Additional Attributes.

    Additional Attributes

For each group, this page lists these details:

Name. The name of the set of attributes. All UDAs of a specific type are grouped together in a set and the set name reflects the type of UDA: Recurring Cost, Non-Recurring Cost, and Miscellaneous. To view the attributes in the set and any data entered for them, click the set name. See Viewing Additional Attribute Values.

Role. Who fills in the values for attributes: Buyer or Supplier.

Description. A description of the set of attributes. Attribute sets defined by the Buyer shows "User-Defined Attributes".

Status. The number of attributes out of the total number possible that have data entered for them. For numeric attributes, "entered" data is any non-zero number. The system automatically assigns currency fields to cost attributes. These currency fields are not included in the total attribute count.

Edit. Enter values for the attribute groups. See Entering Values for Additional Attributes
