Locating Captured Requirement Specifications

The process of capturing requirements will create a new requirement specification in Requirements Central. To locate the new requirement, captures, and checked in file, you view the specification in Structure View.

The Structure View page identifies the object hierarchy of the specification. Your captures, along with any other objects that may have been created, are found on this page. The captured objects in the MS Word Find listing should match those listed here.

Before you begin:

View the specification in Structure View. See Using Structure View for a Specification.

  1. From the listing, check to select an object.

    Check one of your imported captures.

  2. From the page Actions menu, select Structure Content Editor.

    The Structure Content Editor opens. The content of the selected object, your capture, is displayed and available for editing. To learn more about editing the content, see Editing Objects: Structure & Content Editor.
