Listing Sub and Derived Requirements

  1. From the global toolbar, click > Requirements > Requirements.

    The Requirements page opens.

  2. From the Requirements page, click a requirement name, or click , at the end of the row.

    The Requirement Structure Browser page opens listing the requirement and all sub and derived requirements.

    These icons represent the allocation status when child sub or derived requirements are connected to the requirement:

    Status Requirement object connected at "From" side Requirement object connected at "To" side
    Valid

    Suspect



    Invalid



    Double arrows indicate requirement objects connected at both the From/To side, such as . Double arrows can express a mixed status, such as .

    indicates that no derived or sub requirement is available and no source requirement is available.

    Clicking on any allocation icon will display the Full Traceability view. See Viewing Full Traceability for a Requirement.

Listing Products Sub and Derived Requirements

  1. From the global toolbar, click > Product Line > Products.

    The Products page opens.

  2. From Products listing, click Product name or .

    The Properties page opens.

  3. From the Categories menu, click Requirements.

    The Requirements page opens.

  4. Click the Requirement name, or click .

    The Requirement Structure Browser page opens listing the requirement and all sub and derived requirements.
