Unlocking Objects

When unlocking a specification or requirement you can also specify whether to additionally unlock its sub and derived requirements.

Before you begin:

View the specification in Structure View. See Using Structure View for a Specification.

  1. From the Structure View of a requirement specification, click to select the node of the specification you want to unlock.

  2. From the page Actions menu, select Unlock.

    The Unlock Requirement Specification Structure page opens.



  3. If you also want to unlock sub requirements, click Yes next to Unlock Sub Requirements?

  4. If you also want to unlock derived requirements, click Yes next to Unlock Derived Requirements?

  5. Click Done.
