Cancelling a Checkout

This task shows you how to cancel an object checkout.

Before you begin:
  • The DesignSync server must be running.
  • You have locked objects populated into your workspace.

  1. Select the desired objects and choose DesignSync | Cancel Checkout.

    The Cancel Checkout dialog displays.

  2. Select the desired cancel options and press Ok.

    The cancel checkout command begins processing the selected objects.

You release the lock on all selected items in the workspace. If you have made local modifications, these persist unless you specify Force overwrite of local modifications. The decorations for the objects change to reflect the status of the objects.
