Synchronizing with the Repository

This task shows you how to use the Synchronize with Repository view to show how your local workspace differs from the latest version on the server.

Before you begin:
  • The DesignSync server must be running.
  • You must have a project populated your workspace.

  • Select a project in your workspace and select DesignSync | Synchronize with Repository.

    The Team Synchronizing perspective opens with the Synchronize view. Displayed in the Synchronize view is a list of all the different objects.

The Synchronize view is open and displays a list of differences.

Note: You can pin the view so it will not be replaced if you open the Synchronize view for another project.
