Creating a Colorway

You can create a colorway for a product.

Before you begin: Ensure that you are in the Colorways List page. See Colorways List Window.

  1. From the page Actions menu, click Create Colorway (Manual Entry).

    The Create Colorway form opens.

  2. Specify the following:

    Field Name How to Enter
    Marketing Name Specify the Marketing name for the colorway.
    Colorway Number Specify the number for the colorway.
    Description Specify the description for the colorway.
    Salesman Sample Select Yes or No whether the salesman sample is required.
    Currency Select the currency from the drop-down list.

    Note: The default currency is the product's currency.

  3. Click Done.

    Note: For a base Product, lock status of product is remain same as that was prior to creation of colorway. i.e. If product was locked, then after colorway creation, product is remain locked. If product was un-locked, then after colorway creation, product is remain un-locked.
