Resolved By Page for an Issue

This page lists information about objects that were used to solve the issue, such as an Engineering Change or a Defect. The issue assignee or owner has the ability to attach objects used in issue resolution.

To access this page:


  1. View the PowerView for an issue. See Viewing an Issue in PowerView.
  2. From the issue page toolbar or PowerView tab, click Categories > Resolved By.

Columns



Column Name Description
Name The name of the object. You can click the Name to view detailed information about the object.
Revision The revision identifier.
Type The object type.
Description A description of the object.
State The current state of the object in its lifecycle.
Owner The object owner.

Create Issue Creates an issue that resolves an issue. Creating a New Issue
Create Defect from Issue If Defect Management is installed, creates a Defect based on the Issue. See the Defect Management User's Guide. The Issue must be promoted beyond the Create state. If you did not create the Issue, you must be an Issue Manager or Analyst to create a Defect.  
Add Existing Adds another object. Search for and then select the new object.  
Create Engineering Change Creates an engineering change as the resolution for this issue. Creating an Engineering Change
Remove Removes checked objects, click OK to confirm. --
