Selecting a Template for a Route

To quickly add tasks and assignees to a route, you can base it on a template.

After creating a route, you cannot change the template it is based on. See Routes Based on Route Templates.


Before you begin: Start creating a route following the instructions in Creating a Route Using a Wizard or Creating a Route with Only Basic Information.

Working with Route Templates
  1. Click the Template . The Find Route Template dialog box opens.



  2. Enter search criteria:

    Field Name Description
    Name To search for templates by name, enter the name of the template or enter part of it and use the wildcard *. The search is case sensitive. If you do not want to search by name, leave the * in the box.
    Availability Choose Enterprise or User to limit the search based on the route template availability. If you do not want to limit the search by availability, choose *. Only Company Representatives can create Enterprise-level route templates.

  3. Click Find. The Select Route Template page opens.



  4. Choose the template you want.

  5. Click Done.
