Setting the Local Workspace Directory for Open

When opening documents stored in ENOVIA, the documents are first downloaded to the local machine, then opened in CATIA. This section shows you how to set the local directory for Open using Tools > Options in CATIA.

Before you begin: Ensure that the Integration Mode is set to Embedded Integration in the Options dialog box. See Activating and Configuring the Embedded Integration Mode.

Opening Documents From ENOVIA in CATIA V5

  1. In CATIA, click Tools > Options to open the Options dialog box.

  2. Click Compatibility in the left frame and select the ENOVIA V6 Integration tab.



    by default, the Local Workspace Directory section displays ENOVIA Designer Central Local Workspace as the location to download documents.

  3. Click Select Folder to browse and select another folder.

  4. Click OK to set the selected location as the Local Workspace Directory.
