Creating a Test Execution

This task shows you how to create new text executions. In the context of an Engineering Change (EC), the EC owner or any of the EC assignees with the role Quality Engineer can create new test executions.

When a new test execution is created, all test cases that are related to the parent EC and their sub test cases at all levels are directly related to the test execution under the EC. Test cases cannot be removed from parent EC objects if they are connected to test executions that are in the Review state or later.

Before you begin: View the list of test executions. See Viewing Test Executions.
