Viewing Test Execution Properties

The test execution Properties page shows details about the test execution and provides access to related items such as assignees, reference documents and test cases.

Editing Test Execution Properties
  1. Click the name of the test execution or click at the end of the row. The Properties page opens.



    It contains the following attributes:

    Name. Name of the test execution.

    Description. Details about the test execution.

    Owner. Person who is currently assigned responsibility for the test execution.

    Estimated Start Date. The planned date for the start of the test execution.

    Estimated End Date. The planned date for the end of the test execution.

    Actual Start Date. The date the test execution started. This field is automatically populated with the current system date when the test execution is promoted to the In Progress state.

    Actual End Date. The date the test execution ended. This field is automatically populated with the current system date when the test execution is promoted to the Review state.

    Percentage Passed. Percentage of test iterations that passed. The test execution owner (generally the QE Manager) updates this field during the final Review state prior to promoting to Complete.

  2. To edit the test execution, click Edit Details from the page Actions menu or page toolbar.

  3. Use the Categories menu to view additional information about the test execution. For details, see Categories for Test Executions.
