Impact Analysis Page

The Impact Analysis page lists impact analyses for an engineering change.

To access this page:


  1. View the Properties page for an engineering change. See Engineering Change Properties.
  2. From the page toolbar, click Categories > Impact Analysis.

This topic defines these items:

Columns



Column Name Description
Name The name of the impact analysis. Click to view the Properties page. See Impact Analysis Properties.
Description A description of the impact analysis.
Owner User who is responsible for the impact analysis.
State The current lifecycle state of the impact analysis.
Schedule Impact The number of days added to the schedule due to the engineering change.
Implementation Impact The number of days to resolve the engineering change (development + analysis).
Validation Impact The number of days to validate the engineering change.
Impact Analysis Effort The number of days to determine what the impact will be on products and schedules.
Relative Cost The relative cost to be incurred, rated on a scale of 9 (highest) to 1.
Relative Penalty The relative penalty, rated on a scale of 9 (highest) to 1.
Relative Risk The relative risk involved, rated on a scale of 9 (highest) to 1.

Opens the Properties page for the impact analysis in a separate window.

This table describes the available actions.

Create New Create an impact analysis. Creating an Impact Analysis
Add Existing Add an existing object to the list. Searching Using the Consolidated Search Form
Edit All Edit one or more impact analyses. Editing Impact Analyses
Remove Remove checked impact analyses. This removes the association between the engineering change and the impact analysis but does not delete the impact analysis from the database. Click OK to confirm. --
Delete Delete checked impact analyses from the database. Click OK to confirm. --
