Editing Compatibility Rule Properties

You can edit a compatibility rule from either its Properties page or by clicking the Edit icon next to the rule in the Compatibility Rules page. The following task describes how to edit a compatibility rule from its Properties page. Before you begin: Access the Properties page for a compatibility rule. For details, see Viewing Compatibility Rule Properties.

Copying Compatibility Rules
  1. From the page Actions menu or page toolbar, click Edit Details.



  2. Make modifications, as necessary. The following can be changed:

    Name. Modify the name of the compatibility rule.

    Design Responsibility. Click to assign the organization or project that has design responsibility for the rule. For details, see Assigning Design Responsibility.

    Description. You can add details to the description or replace the existing description.

    Owner. Click to change the person who owns the rule. By default the person who creates the rule is the owner.

  3. Click Done.

    Note: If you click Cancel, changes are not reflected in the rule.
