Manufacturing Features Page under Logical Structures

To access the Manufacturing Features page under Logical Structures, click the My Enovia button on the global toolbar, then under Variant Configuration > Logical Structures, select Manufacturing Features.

This page displays all of the top-level manufacturing features that are available in the database.

Columns

Column Description
Display Name The display name of the manufacturing feature including the revision suffix
Status Section Description
State The current state of the manufacturing feature in its lifecycle
Active EC Yes or No; whether an active engineering change exists on the manufacturing feature
Basics Section Description
Image The primary image of the manufacturing feature, if one exists
Name The name of the manufacturing feature. This column contains highlighted links. Click on any name in this column to view the Properties page for that item, or click at the end of the row to view the Properties page in a new browser window.

Note: If the Feature Name Display user preference is set to display the manufacturing feature name, this column displays the manufacturing feature name of the manufacturing feature. If the user preference is set to display the marketing name, this column displays the marketing name of the feature. For details, see Setting the Feature Name Display.

Type The type or subtype of the manufacturing feature
Display Text The display text associated with the manufacturing feature
Owner The owner of the manufacturing feature
Design Responsibility The Responsible Design Organization (RDO) for the manufacturing feature
State The current state of the manufacturing feature in its lifecycle
New Window Opens the Properties page for the manufacturing feature in a new window

Create Manufacturing Feature Creates a new manufacturing feature. If one of the manufacturing features displayed in the table is selected when you invoke this action, the new feature becomes a child of the selected one. Creating a Manufacturing Feature
Mass Assign RDO Assigns design responsibility for multiple features. Check the manufacturing features for which you want to assign design responsibility. The Search page opens where you can select an organization or project. Mass Assigning Design Responsibility for Logical Features
Delete Removes selected manufacturing features from the list and deletes them from the database. You are prompted to verify the deletion. Removing or Deleting a Logical Feature
