Listing Questions for a Project Template

All Program Central users can list the questions that have been added to project templates for their company. From the WBS pages, you can also see which tasks are assigned to questions.

You can list all questions for a project template, including questions not assigned to tasks.


Before you begin: View the list of project templates. See Listing Project Templates.
  1. Click the Name of the template you want to edit.

  2. From the Categories menu, click Questions.



    This list includes questions added using the Questions page and those added using the WBS pages. For each question, this page lists these details:

  3. Name. The name of the question. Click it to see the Properties page for the question; see Viewing Question Properties.

    State. The current lifecycle state of the question: Active or Inactive.

    Question. The question that needs to be answered when creating a project from the template.

    A question only determines if a task is included if it has been assigned to that task and its state is Active. Unassigned questions and Inactive questions do not appear when a Project Lead creates a project based on the template.

  4. Use the Actions menu or page toolbar to work with questions:

    Add. Create a new question for the template; see Creating a Question for the Template.

    Remove Selected. Removes the selected questions from the project template.

    Assign to Tasks. Choose tasks to associate this question with; see Assigning a Question to a Task.

    Find Tasks. Lists the tasks already assigned to a question; see Viewing Tasks Assigned to a Question.
