Working with Product Variants

Once a product structure is defined, Product Managers or System Engineers can use it to define variants, which offer specific capabilities to customers. A product variant represents a variation on the selection of features for that product and is used to generate the EBOM. Product variants essentially control the number of product variations available for marketing configuration.
