Listing Projects

All Program Central users can list the projects and project concepts they are members of. This list lets you drill down through the projects and get more information about them and also change information. The list of projects only includes projects you are assigned to as an individual person. Projects that you have access to because you belong to an assigned group or role are not listed but you can access them using Project search.

There are several other ways to list projects within the application:

  1. From the global toolbar, click > Program > Projects.

    Or

    1. Click Tools > PowerView.
    2. Click the Projects tab.

This page lists these details for each project:

Status. The status flags indicate whether the project's tasks are behind schedule. The project's status flag reflects the status of the task that is most behind. The exact number of days for a task status to be yellow or red is configurable and may be different for your system.

      • No flag: the task is not late.
      • Green: the task is complete.
      • Yellow: the task is not complete and the days remaining are less than or equal to the threshold.
      • Red: the task is not complete and the system date is greater than the estimated End Date or Base Line End Date.

Name. The name of the project. Click the name to view the project's Dashboard. See Viewing the Dashboard Schedule.

Type. Project Space for standard projects or Project Concept.

Status. The project or project concept's current lifecycle state. For a description of the states, see Project Lifecycle.

Owner. The current owner of the project, which is the person who has primary responsibility for it.

Estimated Finish Date. The date the project should be completed.

Act Finish. The date the project was promoted to Complete. The system automatically promotes a project to complete when all its tasks are Complete.

Created Date. The date the project was created.

Program. The programs the project is assigned to.

Description. The description of the project.
