Document Properties and Files Page

The properties for a document lists the values for the object's attributes and lists the files checked into the document. You can view a document's Properties page either from the Categories menu for the document or from a related object. The file list shows on the Properties page for any document type that uses the Common Document Model.

To view properties of documents connected to DesignSync files and folders, see Properties for Documents or Folders Associated with DesignSync Objects.

To access this page, click the document Name from a list or from within the table of a related object. For example, if a document is added as content to a workflow, you can access that document by clicking its name from the Related Objects column in the Workflows page or from the Name column in the Workflow Content page.

Depending on the specific type of document, clicking on its name may open the Properties page or the Files list page instead of the Properties/Files list page. See File List for a Versioning Document or File List for a Non-versioning Document.
